Kaweco are one of our more recent additions here at Pure Pens. Established in 1883 by founders Luce and Ensslen, the Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik (dip pen factory) began manufacturing dip pens. Around this time, they also began importing fountain pens and gold nibs from Morton, New York. In the ensuing 125 years, the company continued to grow and today stand as one of Europe's premier fountain pen producers. Known for their robust and high-end build specifications, a Kaweco pen will be a long-lasting addition to any fountain pen fan's collection.
The Kaweco Student Fountain Pen is made of injection-moulded acrylic with a polished finish. The metal parts are made of brass and come chrome-plated. It features a high-quality Kaweco end ink feeder with a steel nib. The nib has an iridium point in extra fine, fine, medium, broad and double broad sizes from Bock. The pen is compatible with ink cartridges or Kaweco converter for use with bottled ink.
